What is ‘a green uk?’

Our purpose is to provide valuable advice & assist home owners in achieving optimum energy efficiency.

Agreenuk.com has been developed by Niche Communications, the leading supplier of Energy Performance Certificates (EPC’s) in the UK. EPC’s are part of a Europe wide initiative that lets people who buy or rent a property know what the energy performance of that property is and how they can improve not just the energy efficiency but also reduce the carbon emissions that are produced by all domestic residences (at the moment 40% of all UK carbon emissions are from the home).

We have since the implementation of EPC’s in Autumn 2007 produced over 60,000 reports and by also incorporating the reports of affiliate partners this site holds data relating to nearly a quarter of a million properties in the UK which is increasing weekly as more properties reach the market.

The site is also intended to carry latest news on environmental issues along with details of government grants and general tips on how to improve energy efficiency in the home.

We hope you find the content of the site interesting and helpful, however if you have any suggestions on how to improve the site or wish to contribute please do not hesitate to contact us.
